Additional Considerations:
- Be careful with locksmith services since it's easy to make duplicate keys. Ask for credentials from the Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, a Virginia registration for security systems, and/or a Maryland security systems license.
- Be aware that most security companies charge a trip fee up front which typically costs $85 - $150. Be cautious of anyone who wants the full fee up front.
